$25K Bonanza Giveaway

Giveaway Rules and Conditions ENTRY PERIOD: The Basnett $25,000 Bonanza begins March 1, 2024 and ends December 31, 2024. The winner will be chosen at random and announced LIVE on Social Media (Facebook and/or Instagram and/or YouTube) on January 15th, 2025.

ELIGIBILITY: The Basnett $25,000 Bonanza is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the Basnett service area, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. Employees and their direct family members of Basnett Plumbing, Heating, AC & Electrical are not eligible to enter or win.

DETAILS: Customers receive a specific number of “chances” to win based on the month they sign an agreement for installation of an HVAC system and new equipment. The earlier in the year the contract is signed, the more chances the customer receives. Example: Sign paperwork in March, you get 10 chances, April = 9 chances, May= 8 chances, June=7 chances, July= 6 chances, August= 5 chances, September= 4 chances, October = 3 chances, November=2 chances, December= 1 chance. Plus, you’ll receive 1 additional chance to win for every $5,000 you spend. No obligation to purchase. If the cost of the customer's installation is less than the $25,000 grand prize, Basnett will cover the remaining balance by providing an additional Plumbing, Heating, AC or Electrical installation equal to that remaining balance. That additional work must be completed by December 31, 2025. Please note that Basnett will not offer cash for this difference. The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.

**DETERMINATION OF WINNER:**A qualified winner will be chosen at random. If the randomly drawn winner: (i) cannot be reached or does not respond to the notification within thirty (30) days of the giveaway announcement (ii) fails to claim the prize within thirty (30) days of the giveaway; or (iii) otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, he/she will forfeit the prize and the prize may be (iv) awarded to an alternative randomly drawn winner, who will be chosen from among the remaining eligible entries based on the same random drawing. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given by ACCEPTING A PRIZE, THE WINNER IRREVOCABLY CONSENTS TO THE USE OF HIS OR HER NAME AND TOWN ON BASNETT’S SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS AND/OR WEBSITE WITHOUT ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION.

GENERAL: If the operation, security, or administration of the Giveaway is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to, fraud, computer virus, or other technical problem, Basnett may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Giveaway to address the impairment and then resume the Giveaway in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Basnett reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Basnett reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
