Born and raised in Littleton, MA. Rob has always had a gift for working with his hands and a desire to help members of his community. These two interests came together when he went to work at his father’s auto shop – where he repaired cars to keep friends and neighbors on the road. Eventually, he found his passion – plumbing. It was the perfect way to utilize his talents and really help people in need. That’s why he started Basnett Plumbing, Heating & AC with his wife Lori in 1987.
By providing quality, dependable plumbing services at fair prices, the business started to grow steadily and evolve. Rob and Lori eventually decided to expand the business into HVAC contracting. Just as he did with plumbing, Rob has poured himself into this new field. He devoted a significant amount of time to learning the trade and becoming an expert in heating and air conditioning efficiency and comfort. From 2003 to 2005, Rob was President of the local Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors Association. In 2008 and 2009, Rob was President of the Massachusetts Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Association. Rob received the Contractor of the Year award in 2009 and the Bradford–Rose award in 2010 from the Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors Association. Rob Basnett also received Contractor of the year award in 2016, runner up in 2017 & 2018 from National Comfort Institute.
